Every radar image you see comes directly from the meteorological agency or institute named on this page for that country — for example, the National Weather Service in the United States or Environment Canada. We do not generate radar data ourselves.
If your country isn't listed, the local meteorological agency either doesn't publish public radar data, publishes in a format we can't currently integrate, or hasn't been added yet. We're always evaluating new sources — reach out if you know of a public feed in your region.
We update this page whenever a new radar network is added or an existing source changes ownership or attribution requirements. Major updates happen a few times per year; small changes happen continuously as we expand coverage in underserved regions.
Absolutely — if you operate a radar source listed here and want to update your name, link, or licensing terms, contact us with the change request. We aim to keep attributions current and respect each agency's preferred wording and link target.
Most listed agencies publish radar data under open or public-domain terms, but a few require attribution or have specific licensing. Rain Viewer respects every source's terms; this page exists precisely so providers receive proper credit for the data we use.
Radar data shown in Rain Viewer comes from third-party agencies, not from us — usage rights depend on each source's licensing. For most public data you can use it with proper attribution to the originating agency. Check the source's own terms before publishing.
